DESCRIPTION:

Douglas was a large agouti Berkshire with quite long thick fur and a scar running right across his forehead As well as being the first 'unwanted' rat to join the gang, he was also the first male member. He was found living under a diesel pump at the local bus depot, covered in diesel and looking very miserable, and was given the name Douglas as that was the destination of the bus being fuelled at his pump at the time of his discovery.

It was hoped that Douglas would make an excellent 'muscle-man' addition to the gang, due to his size. However, Douglas was quite the opposite, and preferred kisses, cuddles and vast amounts of treats. Despite having to live on the outer edges of the gang, Douglas did, at least, get to enjoy a brief romantic encounter with Widget.
